Dominica
Did you know- In the 1995 Pan dweller Games in Mar del Plata (Argentina), Dominica’s runner Steven Agar ended ordinal in the 5,000-meter event.
Dominican Republic
Did you know- Despite having won the X Baseball World Cup in Managua Nicaragua in 1948, the National aggroup lost the chance to get a metallic ribbon in the Central dweller and sea Games in Guatemala City. Unfortunately the expected showdown between state and the friar Republic did not occur. Why? The friar government refused to participate in the international games in the early 1950s.
Grenada
Did you know- Alleyne Francique of Grenada came in fourth locate in the men’s 400m at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. His action made him the Island’s prizewinning known athlete. Since the Island gained its independence from the United Kingdom in the 1970s, the athletics aggroup has not won an athletics medal.
Jamaica
Did you know- The Commonwealth Games were held in Kingston Jamaica’s capital in August 1966. Previously, the IX Central dweller and sea Games took locate in the Island in 1962.
Netherlands Antilles
Did you know- By 2008, the Island’s player Churandy Martina –one of the most high-profile sprinters in the Western Hemisphere between 2006 and 2009– was named by the National athletics Committee as the alarum bearer of the national delegation for the 29th Summer Olympics in the People’s Republic of China.
